Are You Ready for Meaningful Growth?
About Nisson Tillim
Licensed Psychotherapist • Online Therapy, Or By Phone
I’m a psychotherapist trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), offering a respectful, collaborative approach focused on understanding and healing rather than fixing. I help clients develop a compassionate relationship with their inner world, allowing for real and lasting growth.
I grew up in Monsey, NY, attended Chassidish yeshivas and later studied at Mir Yeshiva in Brooklyn, giving me deep familiarity with Chassidish and broader Jewish communities. I’ve worked with yeshiva and gap-year students in Israel, as well as disadvantaged youth and marginalized families navigating complex challenges.
I completed eight months of IFS-supervised training during my internship, with additional training through the IFS Institute affiliate in Israel.
I am an alumnus of the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, am a licensed LMSW in New York State (License #130052) and offer sessions in English or Yiddish via telehealth or phone.
My Approach
Inside each of us are different "parts": protective, wounded, or reactive, each doing its best to help. Symptoms are signals, not flaws. At your core is a calm, confident Self. Therapy helps you meet that Self, trust it, and let it lead.
